Program description - May 2026
Our one-year Advanced Building Systems graduate certificate program is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge to effectively understand the principles of building services systems in relation to energy, sustainability, construction, commissioning and operation.
You will study the application of heat transfer, economics, energy modeling, project management, applicable codes, standards and controls. The program is experiential in nature, incorporating theories, exercises, the development of schematics, basic load calculations, case studies, basic financial calculations, applicable software and practical projects.
